77th Independence Day Celebrations At DISHA-Chord School

The 77th Independence Day held a deeper meaning for CHORD as it coincided with our Silver Jubilee year, amplifying the importance of the occasion. This milestone in our organization’s history added an extra layer of significance to the commemoration, symbolizing 25 years of dedication, progress, and achievement. The celebratory spirit was heightened as we reflected on our journey and the contributions made towards our nation’s growth and development.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

1.At Disha-CHORD School:

77th Independence Day was joyfully commemorated at our New Disha- CHORD School, Gopalnagar, Hyderabad with an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm, nationalism, and pride. Mr. Sudipto Mukherjee, the Managing Director-Country Head of Berkadia, graced the occasion as our esteemed chief guest.

He hoisted the national flag and thereafter in a stirring message exhorted students and the gathering to remember the cost our country had to pay through sacrifices and years of great struggle in securing freedom from the clutches of the Imperial forces. He goaded the participants to imagine what would our nation be like in 2047 and what we can contribute to achieving our nation’s dreams and aspirations.

The event was filled with delightful moments as children showcased their talents through spirited songs and energetic dance performances. Notable speakers were

Sri. Mr. Praveen Polavaram, Senior Vice President – Head of Finance, Accounting & Facilities at Berkadia, Smt.Sudipto Mukherjee and Ms.Sumana Sunkara, Sr.Vice President Berkadia. These luminaries have enlightened the audience about the profound significance of our Independence, adding to the overall experience of the celebration.

Children have mesmerized the participants with their peppy numbers and rhythmic dances symbolizing a sense of Victory and a spirit of Freedom.

Children received prizes, goodies, and sweets on the occasion from the hands of Berkadians.CHORD team was led by Mr.Anil Kumar,Ms.Farzana,Mr.Yesubabu,Ms.Reema and other teaching and support staff.
